Covenant

As Unitarian Universalists of St. Cloud, we freely covenant together to share our life journeys by:

• accepting our imperfections while challenging one another to fulfill our highest ideals

• speaking our own truths while encouraging others to speak theirs

• listening with love and compassion while maintaining our own integrity

• joining together in service while striving for peace and good will.

Doctrine of Discovery

Be it resolved that the St. Cloud Unitarian Universalist Fellowship fully supports the UU Association’s repudiation of the Doctrine of Discovery and be it further resolved that, in addition to our land acknowledgement statement, we commit to educating ourselves and acting locally to dismantle the effects of colonialism on indigenous people and treaty rights.  Be it further resolved that we support consideration of reparations for indigenous peoples and that our work for climate justice includes advocacy for the rights of indigenous peoples.
